Wilmington Police have arrested a Chester man on drug charges following an investigation.
On May 13 at approximately 10:12 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division were conducting an investigation into drug activity in the 300 block of West 7th Street when they observed 23-year-old Nasir Bush of Chester, Pa. engaged in drug activity. Police took Bush into custody without incident, and recovered 12.6 grams of crack cocaine and 1.59 grams of heroin.
Bush has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $9,000 cash-only bail.
