Western Marine Construction is the prime contractor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers St. Paul Harbor Repairs and Maintenance Dredging project. As part of this critical harbor maintenance work, we will soon begin using the designated haul road to transport and deliver dredged material to the Kaminista Disposal area. Our trucks will begin transporting today.

For the safety of all road users, please exercise caution and remain alert for increased heavy truck traffic along the haul road. We have posted appropriate warning signs and traffic control delineators along the roadway to clearly indicate construction activity. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to watch for trucks, reduce speed where posted, and follow all signage.

Safety is our top priority. All haul operations will comply with the approved Haul Road Plan, daily route inspections, and measures to prevent material spillage or leakage. We are coordinating closely with the City of St. Paul and the Contracting Officer’s Representative to minimize any disruption.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation during these operations. This work supports long-term harbor improvements that benefit the entire St. Paul community and the Pribilof Islands.
