Fair Haven Borough will be conducting scheduled tree trimming operations along Fair Haven Road as part of ongoing traffic safety improvements at the intersection of Ridge Road (County Route 34) and Fair Haven Road in accordance with the recommendations from the Monmouth County Department of Engineering.
The work is being coordinated collaboratively between the Borough Officials, Borough Arborist, Police Chief, Borough Engineer, Department of Public Works, and Borough Administrator to address visibility concerns and enhance overall roadway safety for motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and emergency responders traveling through the intersection.
The planned trimming will focus on selective pruning and canopy management intended to improve sightlines while preserving the health and character of the existing trees. The Borough has worked carefully with its professionals to ensure the improvements balance public safety needs with responsible tree stewardship.
Residents may experience temporary traffic impacts or intermittent lane shifts during scheduled work operations. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area, follow posted traffic controls, and allow additional travel time when necessary.
