Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with a May 5 shooting incident.
On May 5 at approximately 9:13 p.m., police responded to the area of West 5th and North Monroe Streets in reference to a shooting incident that had occurred. Police located a 20-year-old female gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
The case was assigned to Detective Ryan Kilmon of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Kilmon identified 23-year-old Sati Lemon as a suspect, and obtained warrants for his arrest.
Lemon was located and taken into custody without incident on May 14 at approximately 11:48 a.m. in the area of 3rd and Lombard Streets.
Lemon has been charged with the following offenses:
- Assault (First Degree)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony – Five Counts
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Reckless Endangering (First Degree) – Four Counts
- Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – Two Counts
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $624,000 cash-only bail.
