5/7 – 4:56 p.m. – Millstadt Police received a call for an erratic driver headed towards Millstadt from Columbia on State Route 158. The officer got behind the vehicle, and noted the vehicle commit a lane violation as well as it acerating at a high rate of speed on West Washington Street. A traffic stop was conducted at Washington Street and Monroe Street. Upon investigating, the driver was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) – Alcohol. He was charged with DUI – Alcohol, DUI BAC 0.08+, Improper Lane Usage, Speeding, & Illegal Transportation of Alcohol.
