* At 417 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Odin, or near Salem, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* This tornado will be near... Odin around 420 PM CDT. Salem around 430 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by the tornado include Selmaville, Cartter and Iuka. This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois near exit 116.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MARION, IL
