As part of this critical harbor maintenance work, we will begin 24-hour operations using the designated haul road to transport and deliver dredged material to the Kaminista Disposal area ( adjacent to rock quarry). 

For the safety of all road users, please exercise extra caution and remain alert for heavy truck traffic 24 hours a day. We have posted appropriate warning signs and traffic along the roadway. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to watch trucks at all times—including during nighttime hours—reduce speed where posted, and follow all signage.
Safety remains our top priority. All haul operations will comply with the approved Haul Road Plan (per Section 01 33 00), EM 385-1-1 safety standards, proper lighting and traffic control for continuous work, and environmental protection requirements. We are coordinating closely with the City of Saint Paul and the Contracting Officer’s Representative to minimize any disruption while working around the clock.

This accelerated schedule helps ensure the project is completed efficiently within the available weather and tidal windows, supporting long-term improvements to Saint Paul Harbor that benefits the entire Pribilof Islands community.
