Washington Street Reopened
Followong the Hoboken Spring Arts & Music Festival, Washington Street has now been reopened to vehicular traffic in both directions. Parking can resume on side streets as Temporary No Parking signs have been removed.
Jersey City to conduct emergency road work on New York Avenue; Prepare for possible traffic impacts in SW Hoboken
Starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, May 18, Underground Utilities Corporation will begin emergency infrastructure work on New York Avenue in Jersey City.
Construction will require the closure of New York Avenue between Ravine Avenue in Jersey City and Observer Highway in Hoboken during work hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for approximately two weeks.
Residents who typically use New York Avenue are advised to leave extra travel time to get around the closure.
NJDEP Rebuild by Design community meeting Monday, May 18
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection will host a virtual community meeting on the Rebuild by Design project on Monday, May 18, at 7 p.m. to provide progress and construction schedule updates on the resiliency project.
