Arizona Man Arrested After Domestic Threat Investigation, Illegal Baton Found

PC 22210- Possession of a Leaded Cane
LOCATION: 149000 Block of Del Rey Drive, Big River, CA
SUSPECT(S): Emery Kidd, 48-years-old, Resident of Parker, AZ
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Friday, May 14, 2026, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Colorado River Station responded to a reported domestic disturbance near the 149000 block of Del Rey Drive in Big River. During the investigation, deputies learned the suspect had threatened the victim during a domestic-related argument, causing the victim to fear for her safety.
When deputies contacted the suspect, identified as Emery Kidd, they discovered he was also in possession of an illegal expandable baton. Kidd was arrested on the above mentioned charges and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Kidd remains in custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
