Please be advised that dangerous heat and humidity are expected Tuesday, May 19, through Wednesday, May 20, with heat index values reaching the upper 90s.
In coordination with the Office of Emergency Management, the following cooling centers are available for residents in need of relief from the heat:

Alexander F. Jankowski Community Center
1 Olive Street
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Raritan Bay Area YMCA
357 New Brunswick Avenue
Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 9:00 PM
There is also the potential for strong thunderstorms on Wednesday evening.
