* At 942 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Raytown to Paola, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Lee's Summit, Grandview, Belton, Raymore, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Greenwood, Peculiar, Holden, Lake Lotawana, Garden City, Lake Winnebago, Lone Jack, Cleveland, Freeman, East Lynne, Kingsville, Lake Annette, Baldwin Park, and Strasburg. This includes the following highways... Interstate 470 between mile markers 1 and 8. Interstate 49 between mile markers 150 and 183.
