A Heat Advisory remains in effect into Wednesday for most of the area. Highs will be in the mid 90s or so with max heat index values in the mid and upper 90s. After some records were set today, additional records may fall over the next couple of days.

Dry conditions on tap through Wednesday afternoon. An approaching cold front will trigger late day and evening showers and thunderstorms. Temps drop through the end of the week and into the weekend. Rain chances persist through the weekend with the front near the area.

In addition the Raritan Township Administration Building is open today and tomorrow from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM as a Cooling Center if anyone is need of this.
