The Ho-Ho-Kus Seniors present The History of the Franklin Turnpike with Jim Wright May 26.
Ho-Ho-Kus Seniors will be meeting on Tuesday May 26th at 1 PM in the Education Building of the Hermitage. Jim Wright will present a program on the history of the Franklin Turnpike. This will be a talk and slide program. William Franklin was the last Royalist Governor of New Jersey and Judge John Fell of Allendale led the opposition to British during the American Revolution.
Mr. Wright is a noted bird watcher and author of several books including his latest about the: "Peregrine Falcon” but is taking time for a history program to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the USA.
Residents 55 and over are welcome to attend.
