*Attention Elk Point Residents*
The City of Elk Point is currently experiencing serious issues within our wastewater system. Residents are flushing Bath Towels, Washcloths, Shop Towels, Paper Towels and other items that do not break down properly. All of these items are causing blockages and mechanical failures in our Sewer system and will soon lead to sewer backups into homes, service disruptions and increased utility costs. IF IT ISN'T TOILET PAPER OR HUMAN WASTE, DON'T FLUSH IT DOWN THE TOILET!!
Do Not Flush:

• Towels/Rags
• Wipes (even "Flushable")
• Paper Towels
• Clothing
• Femine Hygiene Products
• Contraceptives
• Grease/Food Waste

• Toilet Paper
• Human Waste
