.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
From the National Weather Service

Severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 7 PM. Scattered to numerous
strong to severe thunderstorms will impact the region late this
afternoon into early this evening. Damaging wind gusts to 60 mph is
the primary hazard. Secondary hazards include large hail around one
inch in diameter and short lived torrential rainfall. Storms will
track from west to east at 40 to 45 mph.
