INCIDENT: PC 245(A)(1) – Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 16000 block of Nisqualli Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Ronelle Shoulders, 20-year-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Monday, May 18, 2026, at approximately 3:59 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a disturbance call at an apartment complex located in the 16000 block of Nisqualli Road.
During the investigation, deputies learned Ronelle Shoulders brandished a knife at the victim and made a stabbing motion toward the victim. Shoulders barricaded himself inside a bedroom while still armed with the knife. Deputies attempted to de-escalate the situation and Shoulders remained barricaded.
After a brief standoff, Shoulders exited the bedroom window and was taken into custody without further incident.
Ronelle Shoulders was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 245(A)(1) – Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
