JCP&L has advised that power has been restored to more than 90% of the Monroe Township residences affected by the earlier outage. At this time, approximately 75 residences remain without power. JCP&L crews remain on scene and are continuing final restoration efforts.
The traffic signal at the intersection of Spotswood Englishtown Road and Matchaponix Avenue is now fully operational.
Please be advised that Federal Road remains closed between Gravel Hill Road and Monroe Boulevard until further notice due to a damaged utility pole. Residents and motorists are urged to avoid the area and follow all posted detour routes.
Residents should continue to report any power outages directly to JCP&L at 1-888-544-4877.
