The quick-moving storm on Wednesday evening took down numerous trees, closed several roads, and knocked out power for portions of the Township. Most of the conditions have improved overnight. PSEG is still reporting isolated areas without power. Two roads remain impacted by downed trees.
- Route 1 South between Raymond Road and Ridge Road has the shoulder closed
- Deans Rhode Hall Road between Fresh Ponds Road and Route 535 (Cranbury-South River Road) is closed.
Crews will continue to work on clearing the area throughout the day.
