Deputies Recover Illegal, Fully Automatic Handgun During Victorville Investigation

PC 32625(A) – Possession of a Machine Gun
LOCATION: 15000 block of Kimberly Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Kenneth Hicks, 21-year-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Thursday, May 21, 2026, at approximately 12:22 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to an apartment complex in the 15000 block of Kimberly Drive for a report of a man with a gun.
Deputies arrived and contacted Kenneth Hicks, who was also the owner of a Chrysler 300 parked at the location. During a search of Hicks vehicle, deputies located a Glock handgun equipped with an illegal conversion device, which modified the firearm into a fully automatic weapon.
Kenneth Hicks was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 25850(A) – Carrying a Loaded Firearm, and P.C. 32625(A) – Possession of a Machine Gun.
