Activity for May 21, 2026:
- Officer Marcum and Officer Miller located a stolen vehicle in the 400 block of Northwood Lane. The vehicle was impounded at the owner’s request.
- Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of North Blackstone Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was located unoccupied at America’s Best Hotel.
- Sergeant Stanton and Officer Jones assisted City Inspection with an administrative search warrant in the 600 block of Fourth Street.
- Officer Delgado conducted a traffic stop at East Ganson Street and North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. JCYC refused to lodge the 16-year-old male driver for driving while intoxicated. Charges will be sought on the male once formal lab results are back.
- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of North Pleasant Street for shots fired. A residence was struck and casings were located. The investigation is ongoing.
