Memorial Day Information
City Hall will be closed and Oneonta Public Transit will not operate on Monday in observance of the holiday.
The Memorial Day Parade, coordinated by a group working with The Otsego County Chamber, will line up on Market Street between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. and travel up Market Street, turn right onto Main Street, and continue with a right-hand turn onto South Main Street. Detours will be in place during the event, and motorists are asked to obey all traffic control devices and directions from uniformed personnel.
Following the conclusion of the parade, a Memorial Day Ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Neahwa Park, in partnership with the American Legion.
The City of Oneonta joins the community in remembering and honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
