1. Resisting Arrest (1655) 1600 Block of North California Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the listed area regarding a possible battery in progress. Officers located and attempted to detain the suspect, who pulled away from officers. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Vonnell Williams, 32, for resisting arrest.
2. Violation of a Restraining Order / Resisting Arrest (2145) 8100 Block of Palisades Drive, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a restraining order violation. Officers arrested the suspect without incident, but once placed in a patrol vehicle, the suspect began striking the inside of the vehicle and had to be restrained. ARRESTED: Derrick Hall, 43, for violation of a restraining order and resisting arrest.
3. Robbery (2259) 1500 Block of Pacific Avenue, Civic District
The male victim, 71, was walking in the listed area when the suspect approached and offered to sell him drugs. When the victim refused, the suspect reached into the victim’s pocket and took his property. The victim attempted to grab his property, but the suspect pushed him before fleeing on foot. The victim refused medical attention. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
4. Weapon Arrest (0059) Filbert Street and Marsh Street, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of subjects recording themselves with a firearm. On arrival, officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on the vehicle, which had four occupants. There was a firearm inside the vehicle. A search also revealed a large capacity magazine and narcotics. ARRESTED: Edward Guadian, 18, Alejandro Castellanos, 19, Nathan Avina, 18, and Francisco Campos, 19, for weapon and narcotic charges.
