Deputies Recover Stolen Tractor, Seize Drugs and a Firearm During Investigation

SUSPECT 1: Nathan Schultz, 34-year-old Yucaipa resident
SUSPECT 2: Patricia English, 63-year-old Winchester resident

SUMMARY: On May 19, 2026, the victim reported a Kubota tractor with a front loader was stolen from the Yucaipa Equestrian Center sometime during the night. Deputies and detectives conducted the investigation and located a witness who saw a Kubota tractor being followed by a SUV travelling west on Live Oak Road near the I-10 freeway during the early morning hours of May 19, 2026.
On May 20, 2026, detectives obtained the license plate to the suspect SUV and continued the investigation on San Timoteo Canyon Road in Redlands where they were attempting to locate the SUV and tractor. Detectives were driving east on Live Oak Canyon Road when they located a Kubota tractor and the involved vehicle driving on the road. Yucaipa patrol deputies responded to the area to assist with a traffic stop.
Nathan Schultz was contacted driving the tractor and Patricia English was contacted driving the SUV. The tractor was confirmed to be the stolen tractor. During a search of the SUV, a loaded handgun belonging to Schultz and two large baggies of suspected methamphetamine were located inside the vehicle. Schultz and English were both arrested and booked at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.
On May 21, 2026, deputies and detectives served a search warrant at Schultz residence in the 12800 block of Country Place in Yucaipa, and located and recovered a reported stolen Ford F-750 truck.
