Life-threatening rip currents are likely for all people entering the surf zone now until 5/24 at 9:00 PM. Please refrain from swimming on red-flagged beaches where a lifeguard is not present. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
If you are caught in a rip current, do not swim against the current. Instead, relax and float, or if possible, swim parallel to the shoreline.
