At 503 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 13 miles east of Conchas to 10 miles west of Yeso, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Tucumcari, Quay, Newkirk, Cuervo, Montoya, Sumner Lake State Park, Sumner Lake, Puerto De Luna and Yeso. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 289 and 337. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 294 and 323. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 77 and 105.
