The Memorial Day parade is scheduled to start tomorrow morning at 11:30am. Road closures will start at 11:00am and Broad Avenue from Vreeland Ave to Fort Lee Road will be closed by 11:30am. Fort Lee Road from Glenwood Ave to Grand Ave will also be closed before 11:30am. Parking is prohibited along the parade route on Broad Ave. Please follow all no parking and road closed signs.
All parade participants should gather at 11:00am in the Leonia Middle School courtyard. Bleacher seating for parade spectators is available on Broad Ave in front of the American Legion. A ceremony will take place immediately after the parade in the Wood Park parking lot.
In case of bad weather, the parade may be cancelled and the ceremony would be held at noon at the American Legion. We are checking the weather forecasts and we hope to make a decision by 9:00am tomorrow. A message will sent out once the decision is made.
