Due to newly updated weather conditions, the Town of Harrison Memorial Day Parade and related outdoor events have been canceled.
While this decision was not made lightly, our priority remains the safety and well-being of our veterans, participants, residents, and families.
Memorial Day is more than a parade — it is a day of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedoms.
Today, we encourage all residents to honor their memory by spending meaningful time with family, reflecting on the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes, and taking a moment to remember those who gave everything in service to our nation.
Though the parade may not take place this year, the spirit and meaning of Memorial Day remains as strong as ever within our community.
