* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Southeastern Calhoun County in north central West Virginia... North Central Clay County in north central West Virginia... Gilmer County in north central West Virginia...

* Until 1215 AM EDT.

* At 816 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Glenville, Cedar Creek State Park, Big Otter, Burnsville, Sand Fork, Normantown, Cedarville, Shock, Rosedale, Stumptown, Wilsie, Nicut, Stouts Mills, Millstone, Orma, Baldwin, Chloe and Nebo. This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 39 and 44...and between mile markers 77 and 83.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BRAXTON, WV ... CALHOUN, WV ... CLAY, WV ... GILMER, WV
