On May 24, 2026, at approximately 9:20 P.M., SVPD officers responded to the 4600 block of Adam Rd. regarding a trespass incident. The investigation revealed a verbal dispute escalated when 34-year-old Simi Valley resident Morgan Woods allegedly brandished a handgun and threatened to shoot the victim. Officers recovered a handgun during the investigation.
Woods was arrested for violation of PC 245(a)(2), Assault with a Firearm, and booked at the Ventura County Main Jail.
