Dear Neighbors and Friends,
On behalf of the Mayor, Township Committee, and Township staff, thank you to everyone who attended, participated in, and supported the Memorial Day Parade and ceremonial services on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
Despite the uncertainty of the weather, the strong turnout and community support made the day truly meaningful. Since 2015, we had never experienced rain during our Memorial Day events, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who still came out to honor the occasion.
Events like this are only possible through teamwork and community involvement. We would like to recognize and thank the many volunteers, organizations, and participants who helped make the day a success, including:
Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, CERT Team, First Responders, Girl Scouts, New Jersey Forest Fire Service, New Jersey State Police, Junior Order of United American Mechanics, Friends of Cyrus, Tabernacle Athletic Association, Tabernacle Historical Society, Tabernacle Woman’s Association, Eckert Farms, Russo’s Farm Market, VFW Medford Post 7677, and our entire Township staff who worked behind the scenes throughout the event.
Most importantly, thank you for joining us to honor and remember the military personnel who gave their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
We are proud of a supportive and dedicated community and appreciate everyone who helped make this year’s event possible.
