Janesville resident arrested after child‑exploitation investigation.
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, the Janesville Police Department executed a search warrant in the 1900 block of Dupont Drive following an investigation into allegations of child exploitation.
In March 2026, the Janesville Police Department received information that Peter Pemrich sent a sexually explicit video to a person posing as a 13‑year‑old female.
During the search warrant execution, ESD K9 Maui, an electronic storage detection canine, was deployed to assist in locating electronic devices within the residence. Electronics, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia were seized.
As a result of the investigation, Pemrich was arrested for the below charges:
Pemrich is currently being held at the Rock County Jail pending his initial court appearance.

- 961.41(1M)(CM)3 - Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine
- 961.41(3G)(E) - Possession of THC
- 961.41(3G)(D) - Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms
- 961.573(1) - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Pemrich is currently being held at the Rock County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
