This is a reminder that Town Meeting will be held on Monday, June 1, at King Philip Regional High School, where voters will consider Article 12 regarding the proposed replacement of the Roderick Elementary School.
Residents are reminded that Town Meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. Staff will be available beginning at 5:30 p.m. for check-in.
While the Roderick School proposal is listed as Article 12, many of the first 11 articles may be addressed relatively quickly. Residents planning to participate in the discussion and vote on the school project are encouraged to arrive early.
For the project to move forward, the Roderick School article must receive a two-thirds majority vote at Town Meeting, followed by a simple majority vote at the town-wide ballot election to be held on Monday, June 15.
