Join us for Mahwah’s 35th Annual Fishing Derby, “Cops & Bobbers,” with the Mahwah Police Department.
Date: Saturday, May 30
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Silver Creek Pond
(Intersection of Airmont Ave & Airmount Road)
This event is open to Mahwah residents only (proof of residency required at registration).
Event Details:
- Open to children ages 5–13
- Catch and release only
- Participants should bring their own fishing pole
- Prizes will be awarded for:
- Largest fish
- Most fish caught
Volunteers from Trout Unlimited will be on-site to measure all catches.
Whether your child is new to fishing or already enjoys the sport, this is a great opportunity to spend time outdoors and enjoy a community tradition.
