Controlled Burn - Training Exercise 
On Saturday, May 30, beginning at 8:30 AM, Galax Fire will conduct a live burn training excercise at the Glaax Motel, located at 549 E. Stuart Dr. Gillespie Ln. will be closed. For access wot Wilson Ave. utilized Eastview St. Use left lane on Rt. 58 east bound through the area. Smoke and smoldering may be visible for some time, This will be monitored. Please DO NOT call 911 for this event.
