On Friday night, 5/29/26 at approximately 9:24pm, RPDPS Dispatch received a call for a report of a Vehicle vs Pedestrian Collision at the intersection of Bodway Parkway and Waterside Lane.
RPDPS Officers arrived and located two juveniles in the roadway, one with major injuries. It was determined that both juveniles were riding together on an electric scooter when they were struck by a vehicle. The vehicle then fled the scene without stopping or rendering aid. The attached video is footage and still image are of the suspect vehicle, which is believed to be a silver 2004-2009 Dodge Durango SUV.
An example of the vehicle is also included, and it is not an actual picture of the suspect vehicle.
