Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting death investigation in Santa Clarita.
On May 30th, at approximately 10:50 PM, deputies from Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station responded to the 20800 Block of Centre Pointe Parkway, Santa Clarita, regarding a gunshot victim call. Upon arrival, deputies located two male adults suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies provided medical aid until the arrival of Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel. Both males were transported to a local hospital where one of the males was pronounced deceased. The second male is in critical condition.
Deputies have a person of interest detained.
This investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 20800 block of Centre Pointe Pkwy, in the city of Santa Clarita, regarding a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at approximately 10:53 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
