Here are upcoming youth sports opportunities in Delhi.
LITTLE LEAGUE
Delhi Little League will start practice on Tuesday, June 9. Practices will be held for approximately two weeks on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Games will be held every Tuesday and Thursday through the end of July. Little League is open to children in pre-K through sixth grade for T-ball, junior and senior baseball, and softball. Every player will receive a shirt, hat, and socks. A $15 donation is requested, and the season will end with awards and a pizza party. TENNIS
Delhi Village Tennis lessons will start Monday, June 29, and run through Wednesday, July 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Delaware Academy Tennis Courts for participants ages 5 or older. Classes are on Monday and Wednesday, with rain days following on Thursday and Friday. Participants should bring a tennis racket, one new can of balls, a water bottle, and wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen. Pickleball will also be offered to those who are interested. SWIMMING & DIVING
Swimming Lessons at SUNY Delhi will be held June 29 through August 6.
- Session I is June 29 - July 16.
- Session II is July 20 - August 6.
Classes are FREE, and are 30 minutes long and will be held Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and noon and between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Class times will be emailed. Classes include Red Cross Levels I – VI, Parent & Child, Toddler, Water Safety, Swim Team, Adult Swim Lessons, and Diving.
