UPDATE: The Town of Forest City has lifted the Boil Water Advisory. Required water sampling and testing have been completed, and results confirm the water is safe for consumption. No further boiling of water is necessary. NC DEQ Asheville Regional Office was contacted about the boil water advisory. Town staff collected samples from the distribution system for the required testing.
