This Friday, June 5th, is the Ely Public Library's annual kickoff to the beginning of Summer Reading. They will have FREE food, games, prizes, karaoke, a dunk tank, and more for everyone, as well as a chance to sign up for the 2026 Summer Reading Program.

They'll have information about all of the programs being offered over the summer, logs to record reading minutes and win prizes for all ages, and a chance to pick up the free book for their 7th annual One Community, One book program. You don't want to miss this fun event happening 6:00 - 8:00pm.
