On Sunday, May 31st, 2026, detectives and patrol officers with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety (RPDPS) arrested 34-year-old Tamisha Joeline Smith and 25-year old Bradley Davis McCullough, who both reside in Petaluma.

Following an investigation, RPDPS detectives identified Tamisha Joeline Smith as the primary suspect in driving the vehicle that struck the juveniles on May 29th, 2026. Detectives also identified Bradley Davis McCullough, who was a passenger in the vehicle.

On May 30th, 2026, a Ramey Warrant was issued for Smith’s arrest. The following day, May 31st, 2026, with assistance from members of the public, Flock ALPR system, and investigative leads, RPDPS detectives and patrol officers located her and served the warrant in Petaluma, placing her under arrest. Smith was booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility for violation of California Vehicle Code 20001 (a) – Felony Hit and Run with Injury, with bail set at $25,000.

Through the investigation, Detectives learned that Bradley Davis McCullough, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was involved with attempting to assist Smith with concealing the vehicle in an attempt to evade detection or arrest. RPDPS detectives placed him under arrest. McCullough was booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility for violation of California Penal Code 32 PC – Accessory after the Fact and 1203.2 PC – Violation of Probation with a total bail set at $30,000.

Detectives have since located and recovered the vehicle in question and seized it for evidence in the case.
