At 926 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Horn Lake, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Southaven, Olive Branch, Horn Lake, Hernando, Memphis, Lynchburg, Whitehaven, Robinson Gin, Alden, Twin Lakes, Cedarview, Bright, Nesbit, Jago, and Plum Point. This includes the following highways... Interstate 240 near mile marker 23. Interstate 55 in Tennessee between mile markers 1 and 4. Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 277 and 292.
