The Amarillo Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a burglary suspect involved in an incident that occurred on May 6th, 2026.  At 5:11 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at the Toot N’ Totum located at 4224 SW 34th Ave.  Upon arrival, officers discovered that a suspect had forced entry into the store through an exterior wall.  While inside the business, the suspect attempted to gain access to an ATM but was unsuccessful.  The suspect then left the scene on foot.  Surveillance video of the incident is available at amapolice.org.  Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.  Tips can also be submitted by visiting amapolice.org or by using the P3 Tips App.  If your anonymous tip leads to an arrest, you could earn a reward up to $1,000.  “Say It Here” with Amarillo Crime Stoppers.
