1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1753) 2100 Block of Delaware Avenue, Civic District
Officers responded to the listed call location regarding a disturbance between a male and a female. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim, who advised the officers that the suspect had pointed a weapon at him. Officers conducted a search of the suspect's vehicle and located a handgun, body armor, and multiple loaded magazines. ARRESTED: Melvin Green, 43, for assault with a deadly weapon and weapons charges.
2. Carjacking / Robbery (1900) 1400 Block of Roosevelt Street, Park District
Two victims, a 25-year-old male and a 24-year-old female, were at a residence when the suspects approached, brandished weapons, and took their property. The suspects then fled in the victim’s vehicle. One suspect was taken into custody. ARRESTED: Jullisa Jiminez, 27, for carjacking and robbery. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
3. Strong Arm Robbery (2200) Center Street and Oak Street, Civic District
The male victim, 37, was in the listed area when the suspects approached, assaulted him, and took his property. The victim later went to an area hospital to treat his non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Six male juveniles.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2223) 300 Block of South Hunter Street, Civic District
The male victims, 43 and 32, were at the listed location when they got into an argument with the suspect. The suspect stabbed both victims and fled the area in a vehicle. Both victims were transported to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: A Hispanic Male adult.
