Bonham Road is closed to all through traffic between Shadowy Hills Drive and Tallawanda Lane for a bridge replacement project.
Key Details & Detour Information:
- Duration: The closure began June 1st and will last throughout the summer.
- Eastbound Detour: Traffic is diverted west on Sycamore Street in Oxford, north on Ohio 732 (Morning Sun Road) into Oxford Township, northeast on Somerville Road, and south on Oxford-Milford Road to Bonham Road.
- Westbound Detour: Traffic will reverse the eastbound route.
This project involves replacing the existing bridge with a box culvert, extending storm sewer pipes, and replacing disturbed roadway, sidewalk and curb ramps. In cooperation with the City of Oxford, the
Butler County Engineer's Office manages this project and updates closure statuses.
