Sheriff Clint Roach reports updated information regarding the fatal hit and run crash reported on May 24, 2026, on M152 near Pleasant St.
Further investigation of the fatal hit and run crash has revealed that the vehicle of interest is a 2010 to 2012 black Ford Taurus. This vehicle should have significant driver’s side damage.
As of this date, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office has not received the official autopsy report. This incident is being investigated utilizing the information and evidence collected.
Sheriff Roach is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle involved.
