Culver City Police Investigating Bank Robbery

The Culver City Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at a bank on the 3800 block of Culver Center Drive at approximately 1:10 p.m. on June 2, 2026. Officers were called to the location after the crime reportedly occurred and, upon arrival, learned that the suspect had fled on foot before the call was placed.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect approached a teller window and presented a note demanding money while claiming to be armed with a firearm. Although no weapon was displayed, the suspect repeatedly made gestures toward his waistband, leading employees to believe he was armed. Bank employees complied with the demand, and the suspect obtained approximately $10,000 in U.S. currency before leaving the location on foot. The suspect was last seen heading north toward Venice Boulevard.

Officers conducted an extensive search of the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Suspect(s) Description:
S/1: Male, Black, adult, approximately 5’10”, heavy-set build, wearing a black t-shirt and gray pants
