LOCATION 1:12000 block of Cortez Drive, Victorville
LOCATION 2:14000 block of Palmdale Road, Victorville
SUSPECT 1: Teresa Rust, 58-year-old resident of Victorville
SUSPECT 2: Norman Roberts, 65-year-old resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the Victorville Police Department’s Multiple Enforcement Team (MET), Gang Enforcement Team (GET), and Detective Bureau, served a search warrant at a residence in the 12000 block of Cortez Drive, as well as a search warrant at a storage facility in the 14000 block of Palmdale Road.
During the service of the search warrants, deputies located several firearms and ammunition inside the storage unit. Through the investigation, deputies determined the firearms and ammunition were in the possession of Teresa Rust and Norman Roberts, both of whom were convicted felons, prohibited from owning or possessing firearms and ammunition. Deputies also located suspected methamphetamine in Rust’s possession.
Teresa Rust was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. P.C. 29800(a)(1) – Felon in Possession of a Firearm, P.C. 30305(a)(1) – Felon in Possession of Ammunition, and H&S 11377 – Possession of Methamphetamine. Norman Roberts was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 29800(a)(1) – Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and P.C. 30305(a)(1) – Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
