This notice is for residents in the areas affected by the Pen Argyl Borough 2026 Street Paving Program. A map highlighting the project area in red is attached for reference.
Only properties located within the project area will be affected by the temporary garbage collection changes described below. Residents in all other areas of the Borough will continue to receive garbage collection service on the normal schedule and in the normal manner.
As construction progresses, WM will be adjusting its collection route within the project area. To accommodate construction activities, WM will collect garbage from the project area first on collection days.
Residents should continue to place their garbage out as normal. As long as roadways remain passable, WM will provide collection service.
This modified collection procedure will remain in place throughout the duration of the project, which is currently anticipated to last approximately two to three weeks, weather permitting.
The first collection day affected by this change will be Friday, June 12.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these roadway and infrastructure improvements are completed.
