East Racine Street Search Warrant
On April 27, 2026, Detective Justin Stubbendick received a CyberTipline Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Through further investigation, the alleged suspect was identified as Christopher Redmond. Detective Stubbendick had previously investigated Redmond for CyberTipline Reports from the NCMEC in 2021. As a result of that investigation, Redmond was arrested and charged with possession of Child pornography.
As a part of the ongoing court process, the court set a bond condition stating Redmond was prohibited from possessing any device capable of accessing the Internet. Based on the facts and circumstances of the investigation, Detective Stubbendick obtained a search warrant for Redmond’s residence.
On 6/4/2026, Janesville Police Department Officers, Detectives, and ESD K9 Maui served a search warrant in the 300 block of East Racine Street, where they located numerous devices capable of accessing the Internet, a quantity of controlled substances, and ammunition, resulting in Redmond being arrested for Felony Bail jumping. Redmond was transported to the Rock County Jail, where he is being held pending his initial court appearance. This investigation remains open and ongoing.
