Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 06/04/2026 at approximately 18:26 hours, his deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle crash in the area of M-152 and W. Bay Dr, Silver Creek Township, Cass County Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Douglas Gerstner (58 years old from Dowagiac, MI) was northbound on M-152 when he lost control, causing his vehicle to strike into an utility pole. Douglas Gerstner was transported by SMCAS to Corewell Health in St. Joseph MI, for injuries sustained in the traffic accident.
